I recently purchased the Synergy front lower control arms for my JLU. My rig has the 2” Mopar lift, 35 OC AT tires, adjustable trackbar(yeti XD).

I need guidance on how to measure the FLCA to the proper length. I understand how to install them but not sure how to measure to get the most of these adjustable FLCA.

Can some one assist/guide me? Thanks!

Honestly, I just took mine to my preferred shop. I love mine so far, definitely a noticeable difference in terms of handling and wheel centering.

You want them a little bit longer than the stock arms. Start with 3/8” longer from center to center of the bolt holes. Have your caster measured. Ideally more is better (up to a point) for helping your steering feel. For example with a 2.5” lift my caster is 6.4. Aim for at least 6. If you have the alignment shop measure caster and it’s too low, adjust a few turns longer. If the caster is too high, shorten them a couple of turns.

measure center to center of the bolt holes for the length of the arm, start with a little longer than stock, make sure both arms are the same length. easiest way i have found is setup 1 arm and then use that as a template to align the other arm

once installed park on flat level ground and with a angle finder measure your caster and pinion angles, for caster measure from the flat part at the top of the knuckle, for pinion measure on the yoke or some other flat surface on the diff that is parallel to pinion shaft. do caster on both sides they should be the same angle if they are not then the axle is twisted and you need to adjust the length on 1 of the sides

if you need to adjust the lengths, lengthening the arm will cause the pinion to rotate downward to the ground and shortening it will cause the pinion to rotate up, and to make sure when you adjust that you do both sides at the same time

if you take it in for a professional alignment take it to a off road shop that does alignments and knows how to align a lifted jeep, most other alignment shops just do what the computer tells them to do which is make it stock

Very details, and helpful. Thank you!
