Hey everyone!! I am in need your input. I have a 21 Sport S with the 2.0. When I bought it this past February, it only had 5000 miles and some upgrades from the previous owner. One of the upgrades was a 3 1/2 inch lift from Rough Country. That is where this problem is. The springs are very soft. When my two teenagers sit in the back, the axle sits on the bump stops. They weigh a combined 375 lbs. I have the spare on the tailgate, but no other weight. It even still has the factory plastic bumpers. I want to stay with the 3 1/2 inch lift, but I want to make sure the springs can handle the weight. Just don’t know what brand to go with. I know what’s advertised and what they actually can do are two different things. Any opinion would be great. Thanks

So your question is what do I need to prevent sag on RC 3.5” lift with 400lbs in the back?

I want to replace the springs, just don’t know what brands would be up to the task. I was thinking about JKS, but I don’t want to spend the money only to have the same problem

Clayton HD springs should do the trick, but you'll have a much stiffer ride when the back seat is empty.
I’ve thought about those. I’m not worried about the ride considering when they're with me, I don’t have any rear suspension to speak of.

I had a RC lift on my '18 for about 3 years. I noticed over time the rear would drop with passengers and or gear. It looked sad, I liken it to a dog dragging its butt on a rug to get at that itch. I replaced the springs with a Metalcloak, it's been 2 years now I think, and it has worked well. I went with RC, because it was budget friendly at the time. Shocks and other components work fine, the springs just don't hold up to load.
