Surging idle with AC at stoplights, etc

Did this TSB fix the issue. I am having the same issue.

TSB 18-041-18 Rev B did make my JL idle a lot smoother. I asked them to apply it to fix the loud hovercraft level engine cooling fan - which it did fix, and a positive side effect was much smoother idling. I had no idea it could idle this smooth and didn't realize that it had been idling rough without having anything to compare it to (no A/B reference). I thought rough idling was yet another "JL Jeep thing".

Yes mine was pretty bad worse, than most by the way I hear some people talk about it and it did fix it.

I have the same problem with my 2018 Rubicon and 2020 Willys surging with A/C on mid to high
The Willys is not as bad as the Rubicon put still noticeable with the A/C on high
The Rubicon is really bad and I have to make sure that the A/C is off when pulling into the garage or it will leap forward as I am pulling in
I have had the Rubicon only 4 months and it is out of warranty
The Willys I purchased new and will take to the dealer and see if they can fix it
If they have a fix for the Willys I am hopping that they have a fix for the Rubicon
Any one have this problem and got it fixed

Why would the warranty matter? Software updates aren’t expensive. And, you get less runaround when you are outside of warranty.

That's good to know
I am hopping that it is as easy as a software update on the Rubicon
The cost is not an issue its dealing with the dealer that's the issue
The 2020 Willys has had many software update sense I purchased it put maybe not the one to salve the surging issue

I've noticed a mild surging sensation after pulling up to stoplights. It seems to happen only on hot days with Air Conditioner on. The idle speed increases and decrease with a bout a second between surges. You cant really see
