Sunrider and Grab handles Interference

I installed the bestop sunrider last weekend.
However, interference occurs with the existing mopar grab handle.
In this case, would it be a problem if I left it as it is?
Or should I replace the handle with another product?
If you have a suitable handle, please recommend it.

I just did the install of my sunrider as well.

I already have some el cheapo grab handles on Amazon that Velcro around the bar for my 2 door that works just fine. No clearance issues at all. Had them for 3 years and no complaints.

I had the Mopar grab handles and didn't want to put the stress on the plastic Bestop bracket so I found these cheap grab handles on Amazon. They are not the quality of the Mopar grab handles but they work and solve the problem.

I left my Mopar handles under the Sunrider as pictured. That part of the plastic isn't load bearing, and is only used to mount the retractable shade (which isn't affected by the odd angle either). I do plan on notching both sides the next time the Sunrider comes off, just so it won't poke my OCD.

I dropped my first Sunrider after only using it for 7 months off of a 5' shelf and the main rear plastic frame/cross piece broke. I take it off during the cold MN winters and to keep the nasty road salt off of it. I just replaced it this spring and decided to not have the Mopar metal strap go under it. I am very OCD.

These work well with the sundrider - I just folded the long triangular end under enough to miss the sunrider

I don't know if it's possible to dig a groove under the sunrider

Hey man, I was just kidding. I like to do things properly so unsure how I missed it. That piece of plastic sitting on metal under hot Georgia sun is not a good idea. I have to find something to replace those mopar grab handles.
