Just spoke to Lou at the dealership where this bad boy is headed. He was kind of clueless about the Jeep headed his way (and I'd expect nothing less from a salesman), but he was a super nice guy. I told him he could expect it to arrive as early as today, and I and a forum full of Sting-Gray fans are eagerly awaiting pictures. He said he would do the best he could and contact me as soon as he is able to get some shots.

If you post his shots today then I nominate you as MVP of this thread!

I’ve just never been a fan of metallic paint. Of the colors offered this year SG was my first choice with red the second. I’m not really into appearance maintenance after the first couple of years, so figured faded fenders would look better with gray than red.
When I ordered, there was a Fiat in the showroom that was in a color similar to Jeeps old Anvil that would be awesome.

I just called the dealership and tried to buy it. They said they can't sell it to me until it hits the dealership. Also said they are starting a list because they have 3 other buyers that want it. Oh well, I gave it the old college try.

The anticipation! But as I'm sure we're all aware, no picture will do it justice. The JL (regardless of color) looks so much better in person than what I've seen on the forums or other sites. I hope we do get a picture though! But I'll believe it when I see it. It seems highly unlikely it went all through production and delivery without a SINGLE picture being taken of it. Excited to see others here starting to go into D1, ordered on 3/5 and mine is still in D.

I did! Poor Lou sounds a bit overwhelmed at the moment, his colleagues called off sick and he's the only sales guy in the office today, and its raining in LA which according to Lou really causes havoc. I said I'm not really looking for a photo shoot, just a couple quick cell phone shots, and he said he would do his best but it's probably going to be a little bit. I pressed him a little, and he said he might be able to go find it on the lot on his lunch break.

Come on Lou, you can do it!!

I thought it was a he, based on the name. His/her voice does leave it open to imagination though. I just pegged him as a soft spoken male.

I think we should maybe give Lou some space for now, the last thing we want is every member of this thread bombarding poor Lou all day!
