Was just at my second dealer and I can confirm they cannot order Sting grey with painted top. However he was able to order punk’n and ocean blue with painted top, so that conflicts with earlier report of all late avail colors being restricted on matching hard tops

I just got conformation from my dealer Sting Gray can be ordered with painted top but is on restriction until some time next week. Hopefully this is accurate. I was going to place my order this week but I've been struggling between Graphite, Ocean blue, and Sting-Gray. If Sting-Gray is close to what I'm thinking it is I will place my order for it.

I'm not sure how he found out. I asked earlier today, he got back with me and told me that.

Cool let’s hope he’s right. Most dealers I’ve spoke to didn’t know what sting grey even was. They said corvette? So that’s what I’m working with...

Yeah I hope so. A lot of dealers/salesmen don't have a clue. Might as well be selling refrigerators or TV's. Some actually get it and are "car" guys.

How do you combine dealer discount with Tread Lightly discount? My dealer has agreed to 3% below invoice as well (as soon as the power top is available in Ocean Blue, I'm a buyer). Am I able to get an additional discount by joining TL? Inquiring minds want to know!!!

There's a whole thread about it, but simply put....is up to the dealer to honor it or not and some dealers might say w.e % you're getting is already accounting for you to have a thread lightly code.

I guess it depends on the dealer. The TL discount is 1% below invoice, and if your dealer is already going 3% below he might not do it. I used a great deal from out of state as leverage and my dealer said he'd do 3% plus TL or $497 additional off. It put me right at $49551

I would ask the dealer before joining. Plus you can't use it until after 30 days from sign up date. Just say you already have it and ask if they can apply it to get the additional 1%. If they say yes join.
