Huh, and here I thought you were all about respecting how other people live and not passing judgement
Making fun of skateboarders is the exception to the rule.
Every time you see a skateboarder a 392 dies......

Unfortunately, it's the direction some on these threads take...
Honestly, of all the forums I've followed over the years, this is the worst in that regard.

So who are you going to be honking at the bicycle stand that is permanently blocking the lane, or the patio of drunk people?

The stop signs is purely malicious to issue meaningless tickets.

Once again here is the picture, the government is ticketing the person stopped in front of a patio that is constructed on the road, there is a space beyond the patio for cars to turn onto a side street, then the bicycle rental, this lane is completely blocked to through traffic.

Sorry, grown men don't ride skateboards. Now I know who I'm dealing with for reals. :CWL:
So many responses i could make to our forum members from the north but that would break their hearts and the forum rules.

Another thread where the folks who can't articulate their points go straight to insulting the other party.

I heard all the bike rentals are owned by a secret cabal of foreign globalists purposely to piss you off.
BTW Does your Mom and Dad know you are cruising around the city on your skateboard or do they think you're at your friends house playing Fortnite?
In this case that not so "secret cabal foreigners" that started up this bicycle rental business went bankrupt for obvious reasons, then the government harvested the carcass, and pump it with public money from parking revenue.

Once again there is a lot of public space for these bicycle rentals, the government does not need to block a lane on a busy bus routes.

You realize that the biggest reason refineries in CA are shutting down has more to do with supply and demand than environmental regulation, right? Fuel demand in CA continues a downward trend, and is 15% down from it's all-time high, as well as CARB rules will continue to force that demand down. Coupled with their fuel not being widely distributed means that even though the refineries have the highest margins, they run into profitability problems due to sales volume.

Sure they blame regulation, but that's because they are politically motivated to do so. It sure gets those uninformed masses to point the blame where it doesn't belong.
Sure- there is plenty of blame to go around, supply and demand works. CARB rules as mentioned, the new carbon credit system, refinery regulations and taxes raising the production cost. Some of Ca’s refineries are old and a raised emissions standard although not large can be difficult and expensive. Yes, the oil companies will raise prices to maintain a profit margin. High fuel prices push more people into EV’s reducing demand. Throw in Ca’s specific blends. I can see where at a point maintaining refinery operations is no longer cost effective.

edit- besides, the thread was about us in Ca even being able to get a wanted ICE Stella vehicle after Tavares’ genius move, not everything else but that.

Clean air and noise pollution are perssonal interests?😒
If these are truly your interests, then you wouldn’t be interested in EV’s in their current form. More pollution is created in the manufacture and disposal of any EV than what is saved “at the tailpipe” vs. an ICE.

That’s not waving a certain colored flag, or “I identify as…”, that’s science.

You don't like EV's and nothing you hear or say will convince you otherwise.
In my day to day life it's noise and the stink of exhausts, the oil that litters the trails you guys ride on that matters to me.
EV's are in their infancy, but there are people behind the curtain who want to kill the tech before their stock and interests implode.
I love my V6 but I'm gonna be dead in twenty years and really only looking for the future not my own interests.
