Steering wheel heat not working

I have wrangler 2021 and last day I noticed my steering heat is not staying on , it shuts off after 2 3 seconds if anyone know about this let me know

That doesn’t sound right.

Are you getting any other messages that might suggest that one of your batteries is not holding charge?

If not, sounds like a dealer visit is in order.

No there’s no other messages or sign indicating, all the rest of switches work great but not the steering heat on/off switch

Several potential failure points. Do the heated seats work okay?

It won't give you a message, it's tripping itself and shutting off. They have a safety mechanism built in where it will turn off after a certain temp. it's typically the module part#68438109AC, pretty cheap if out of warranty. But other than that it would either be the wiring or the steering wheel itself.

How competent are you with a voltmeter?

2 points from your owner's manual:

The heated steering wheel may not turn on when it is already warm.

The engine must be running for the heated steering wheel to operate.
