Hey guys
I have a buddy that needs new steering for his Gladiator Mojave

Looking at the steer smarts bottom mount drag link and tie rod
https://www.morris4x4center.com/steer-smarts-yeti-xd-jl-bottom-mount-draglink.html
https://www.morris4x4center.com/steer-smarts-yeti-xd-jl-rubicon-tie-rod-assembly-long-length.html

With this we're looking to add the Fox 2.0 TS steering stabilizer
https://www.morris4x4center.com/fox-performance-series-2-0-ts-stabilizer.html

For some reason everyone mounts these to the tie rod instead of the axle so I guess we'll need the stabilizer bracket
https://www.morris4x4center.com/special-order-parts-4.html

And possibly a bolt to mount the stabilizer to it though this says ats?
https://www.morris4x4center.com/ste...er-bracket-bolt-for-fox-ats-stabilizer-1.html

Do we have everything right so far? The only thing I dont understand is the passenger side mounting point, usually there's a bolt hole off of the tie rod but I do not see that in the part pictures nor do I see it mentioned anywhere.

I know this relocation bracket is an option but it's it a requirement?

Thanks!!

Sweet thanks, we'll pick up the JK version, that helps a lot. What about the eyelet attachment point? Where does that go?

Ah okay, I see the longer bolt on the JK steering stabilizer, we'd just use that on the JT?

You jumped right to the conclusion without telling us about the problem. Has he measured his castor? That might be the issue right there with throwing parts at it.

I believe so. I used the bracket with my falcon stabilizer so I never had to deal with that specifically.

Edit. Yes. If you look at the install instructions, they show you using the longer bolt through the draglink lower mount

I used to have that exact combination of parts on my JLUR. Others have already showed you the JK stabilizer, which is a great shortcut vs swapping the JL bracket for a tie rod clamp.

It looks like you've got the relocation bracket too. Interesting that people were reporting that it won't work with Fox stabilizers.

Any stabilizer shock for a JL will have the same bushing width and through bolt size on the rod end, and will work with the SteerSmarts axle side relocation bracket.

The possible issue would be if someone was trying to install the stabilizer backwards, with the shock body bushing on the axle side. The through shaft would hit the ear of the relocation bracket. The only other possible issue, is if the stabilizer was oriented correctly, but a regular hex head bolt was used to attach the tie rod clamp. It would have too high of a profile and interfere with the through shaft, which is why the lower profile countersunk bolt is needed.

Problem is his drag link went bad and the dealership says it has to sit on the lot for 6 months waiting for backordered oem parts.

what does caster have to do with a bad drag link ?
