We have 2018 wrangler and for the past few weeks we get start stop error message, check engine light and for a short time the dash will go blank, no speedometer, radio, etc.
When looking at codes it will show over 30 codes we are assuming they are false codes due to whatever is going on electronically.
It seems this is happening when we hit a rough patch in the road or go over railroad track.
We have confirmed both batteries are good and our software is updated.
It has been at the dealer since Monday, not sure that they have really looked at it.
Has anyone had this issue

Just from your description, it sounds like a possible loose wire or fuse? I know when I brought my Jeep home, after reading some posts, I'd checked all the fuses by just pressing them all down to ensure they were all seated fully...

Other than that, I'm sure someone with significantly more Jeep knowledge will have some ideas... Good luck with getting it back and resolved as soon as possible... :)

Yes, check all fuses are fully inserted, check for loose connections at batteries or ground points, and possibly check the bus connections back of the glove box. Some have disconnected, cleaned and reconnected in there and had things start working.

More often than not this is a bad battery....how did you confirm the batteries were not the problem?

Typically when you replace one battery the other needs to be changed as well. You have a 2018 and are at/near the end of life of the OEM batteries (if your main is still original). I suggest having the main replaced too.

I hope Brian that the dealer's check of the battery was a load test.

Simply taking a volt meter to a battery might rule in a bad one if that voltage is low, but might not rule out a bad one that's limited in its ability to deliver and receive charge but whose voltage is within acceptable range.

Load testing, which needs to be done on each battery disconnected from the other (they are in parallel 99% of the time in the vehicle but for an instant at cold crank and during ESS events) tests over a period of time the ability for a battery to deliver current and is the gold standard.

So the batteries were replaced before the issue started? If so, have then double check the 4 large plugs on the bottom of the PDC fuse panel. It’s possible that one isn’t seated properly or that the nuts on top that secure those plugs in place weren’t tightened.

Charge, load, and voltage test both batteries separately, then go from there based on results.

Thanks for suggestions
The issue was before we changed the aux battery Today the dealer tested the batteries said they need a charge, I assumed that was due to it sitting for over a week.
Dealer drove it for a few miles and no codes. We picked it up drove few miles on the interstate and again dash flashes codes no speedometer the check engine light and start/stop error light now stays on, it is back at the dealer.
From previous post I am questioning the main battery but they don’t think that is it.

Update on the 2018 Jeep it has been at the dealer since end of February dealer has replaced body module controller(thought that was the fix) but after a short drive abs code appeared after 2 week delay for part dealer changed out abs module drove almost 1/2 tank a fuel then today Jeep was at is again.
Dash went blank lost power stirring and AB’s brakes, got parked and turned off for a few minutes everything reset, went straight back to the dealer Jeep was showing over 80 codes a reset then over 20 codes.
another customer pulled up with a 2018 Jeep with same issue.
we learned while there they have 3 2018 Jeeps doing this with no idea how to fix. Comment was made that they are not getting support from Chrysler.
