These images should help for reference. So which bumper would I select for a Willys XR? Sport or non-sport?
Yes, I couldn’t be happier with the clear side markers and LED switchbacks so far. Just make sure to also get the resistors that prevent hyper flash.Well, now over 6,000+miles with the SS3's installed on my JL ....
Performance of SS3's is terrific.
@Diode Dynamics SS3's.. are an add that is easy easy to install and yes, they sure do make a difference.
@Willys_Wonka .... You have had your Diode Dynamics offerings installed for a few weeks now..
The side markers and fogs are a real pleasure right..
Thanks for all the comments on the SS3 fogs. How does the color temperature of the SS3's match the OEM LED headlights?Well, 15,000+miles with these installed and almost a year since I installed.... lots of driving day and all night. Mostly interstate miles but a few hundred of those miles on back roads in NY and Florida.
Geeeez, do they light things up forward and to the sides.
Performance of this offering is terrific.
A real pleasure to have the @Diode Dynamics SS3's.. Also, communication with Diode Dynamics is top notch. They are easy to get in contact with and easy to deal with. More companies should be like Diode Dynamics..
Lots of guys/gals ask about the SS3's as they like the look of them. They ask about performance and ease of install. (Easy)
My only regret is that I did not install the Diode Dynamics SS3's sooner!

@AnotherwillsmithLooking into the yellow fogs with amber backlight. Curious is the backlight is possible with factory fog switch or do i need an aux to turn backlight on?
@JJsJLYes exactly. Just wanted to be sure those Diode SS3’s White SAE Fog light color temp matched the OEM LED headlights when run together.
Just installed these today (with help). We tapped into a fused headlight halo lead for the backlights; they come on at ignition. Like @Rhinebeck01 said, you should be able to tap any ignition-on line or side markers as indicated by DD.Looking into the yellow fogs with amber backlight. I do not have install instructions on hand but if I remember correctly Diod Dynamics instructs you to hook up the back lights to the side markers which is quite easy to do. You would not want them hooked up to the "factory fog switch".
Yes, backlighting could hook up to an Aux switch or a switch you install.
I do not have back lighting on my SS3's.
My SS5’s match the color temperature of the OEM LED headlights. I imagine the SS3’s should be the same.Yes exactly. Just wanted to be sure those Diode SS3’s White SAE Fog light color temp matched the OEM LED headlights when run together.
