Spotify Problems & SubWoofer Question

When I'm using Spotify, there will be moments when it goes quiet for a couple seconds, and then the song continues. Kinda like a record skipping, if ya know what I mean? It happens at random times. Any solution to that problem?

With my 25 JL Rubi, I didn't get the Alpine sound system. The dealer said if I added an aftermarket subwoofer it might screw up the sound system electronics. Hmmmm??? Not sure how I would hook it up either.

Any chance that your nav is giving directions during those gaps? If that's a possibility, press volume up when it happens next. There are two different volume settings.

I’ve read that a lot of people complain about lag in the CarPlay use. We have a 25 Willys & have the same issue no matter what digital svc we use for our tunes.
As to adding an amp, I have been looking into the same thing. It won’t fix the lag but my understanding is the audio feed coming from your display/console is digital & has to be converted to an analog signal to feed the amp. Your best bet is to contact www.crutchfield.com they’ll steer you in the right direction.
