Subwoofer gain control knob question + suggested location

Hello - I recently installed a kicker subwoofer using the BRP adapter and MB Quart AMP to use alongside my existing MB Quart system. I never installed the bass knob for the amp. Curious as to folks’ views on:

- Pros/cons for using the knob vs using the setting on the unit
- more importantly - easy locations to install it so it looks factory.

I have the bass control knob for my HS10 installed on the front of my center console, just between the armrest and the e-brake handle. It’s perfect for me because I can easily adjust it with my hand without lifting my arm off the console.

I usually use the knee panel spot just below the steering wheel. Easily removable, and more importantly cheap to replace if you ever decide you don't like the hole left by the bass knob. But placing anywhere that convenient works for most people.

Thanks - i appreciate the responses. I hadn't thought about the knee panel, but like the idea of being able to replace easily!
