Having the exact same issue, taking mine in on Thursday. I will let them know how to fix it, I have a hunch they will balk at doing anything, but we'll see!

You can fixit yourself just take a business card and shove between the module and the wall as discussed in an earlier thread. I believe I did fix the issue myself, but I'm not sure I have the right box down there. I stuffed some business cards in there, and it seems to do the trick. The module control box is the one on the left side of the driver side. Mine has the two slots for the cables, and then a third slot right in front of the back two. I don't seem to recall seeing that in other pictures, but I could be wrong. You can fixit yourself just take a business card and shove between the module and the wall as discussed in an earlier thread. I believe u got it right. It's the box to the left of the steering wheel and it weas a bear to get to it but my noise is goneI believe I did fix the issue myself, but I'm not sure I have the right box down there. Have you tried to resolve this using the DIY methods described in the thread? It's worked for just about all of us.Same issue with a 2018 JL. Been at the dealership three times, replaced two speakers and it still is happening. They don't seem to know what the heck is going on and they 'can't' hear or find anything. Don't know what more to do. Was told to stop listening to the station that causes the noise. This is very annoying with a brand new car. I don't even have 3,500 miles on it..

After 4 trips to the dealership, I sent them a copy of this post and they were finally able to get it fixed. Super frustratingI just purchased this 2018 JL Rubicon with the Alpine Stereo upgrade. There is a loudly disturbing vibration from both lower front speakers. (most noticeable on the drivers side)The noise is worse with low level sound such as talk radio. The vibration resonates as if it is coming out of the steering wheel.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Thank you so much for posting this detail!!! I had to go to the dealer with my new rubicon 3 times and had to sit with them twice to get them to believe that something was wrong. I even sent them a link to this thread, but they still needed me to do all the trouble shooting for them. THANK YOU!I had the same issue (driver's side only), and this is how I fixed it. First though, I'm going to complain:
Like you, I had a very annoying, damn-near infuriating vibration at any volume in the front, lower speaker. Podcasts/talk radio was the worst, but it vibrated during music also. I could tell it wasn't a blown/damaged speaker, but rather something vibration due to the sound frequency, and I was determined to find it.
This was the fix for me, and hopefully for you. Unfortunately, this was a huge pain in the ass to work on, but it worked:
I contorted myself like someone from Cirque du Soleil and got under the dash. I literally had to push my seat all the way back, recline the seat, and sit in it backwards. Then I "slid" under the dash like a snake, upside down, in order to get a good view under there.
Yes, that sucked.
I put a song on loop that made the vibration go crazy ("Deep" by Nine Inch Nails made my vibration go for 3 solid minutes), and started poking around at different places that the vibration could come from. I'm no expert, so I don't know the proper terminology, but there is a box mounted to the back of the speaker with the electronics/plugs and whatnot for the speaker. Using a long screwdriver, I touched that box, and the vibration completely stopped.
When I let off the pressure of simply touching the box, the vibration actually stayed gone, but I knew it would come back at some point, so I went about preventing it.
I had bought very small, rubber, self-adhesive furniture "buffers" for just this occasion. My plan was to put one of the small rubber pieces in between the box and the speaker it's mounted on. It was a huge pain to get to, because my maneuverability was very limited, and the box is mounted high up under the dash.
I put one of the little pads on some tweezers, used my free hand to "pry" the box back just a bit with a long screwdriver, and then shoved the sticky rubber pad in between the box and speaker. Yada, yada, yada...no more vibration.
I assume you have the same issue, likely in the same place. It's fixable, but getting to it is the problem. I'll try and get a photograph of what I did and post it in this thread.
I used this method above ...I didn’t have to take anything off. The offending connector and wires to it are just under that lower speaker, behind the trim panel/speaker grill and above the OBD II port. If you’re young (or an old contortionist) you could probably get your head on the floor under there and see it, but I used a mirror. I've included a picture. There are two connectors right next to each other. But in the picture you can also see the zip tie I added to pull the wire to one of the connectors snug (not too tight - just enough to make it quit making noise.) For me the noise was the worst at a frequency of around 145 Hz.
Incidentally, at the time I fixed it I considered that zip-tie a temporary fix. I was thinking at some point I should pull the connector out and see if there is some way to make it fit a bit tighter in its socket (Putty on the side of it maybe?). But then again sometimes my "temporary" fixes end up being in place for a long time unless they quit working...
I don't have any idea what could be causing the bass to be felt through the brake pedal, but at very loud volumes I would imagine it feels like it's coming from everywhere! I used to listen to loud music. Now I try to preserve what little hearing I have left, so if that happens on my Jeep I probably will never find out!

You're welcome! After typing it up, I later found the name of the box in question (some sort of module), and realized I could have done a better job explaining it, but I'm glad it worked nonetheless!Thank you so much for posting this detail!!! Hello RubiRedJL,I've been fighting this same fight with my dealer since October. I've tried the fixes listed in all of these threads. The dealer has also attempted 4 times to fix this issue. They finally told me this is "normal" behavior for the Wrangler JL and to just live with it. I refused to listen to the dealer and asked for someone else. They referred me to customer care. After 3 weeks of calling (without getting any call backs) customer care decided to close my case without doing anything about it. I called again and was referred to Jeep Wave. Jeep Wave says this horrible vibration is normal and they will not do anything about it. I'm to the point I'm going to start advertising against buying Jeeps until they fix this P.O.S. parked in my garage. A simple solution would be to create a software update that allows control of the frequencies going to the front speakers (similar to installing a crossover in an aftermarket stereo system). Thanks for nothing @Jeepdoesn'tgiveafuck
i just took my 2018 JL to the dealer, they replicated it, applied a software patch to the audio system ( level MR28.3 ) , no longer able to replicate, will see if it holds.I have the same issue on JL but only in the morning on FM radio.
