If any of you guys have a Tazer JL mini, I just did a full reboot and it fixed this issue. I tried to reset as other have done and for whatever reason mine doesn’t reset while holding the power button/Tune button down for any amount of time

Im.having the problem with static now since I've upgraded to a ds18 sound bar. Checked all connections, and everything seems to check out. Not sure why only my sound bar has static and popping sounds. The front speakers are still great.

Just had this happen to me. Hard reset fixed it. Hard reset was
- turn radio off
- hold volume and tune buttons for minimum ten seconds
- radio will display Jeep logo it will disappear. Then it will come on again. Problem solved.

side note - it’s kind oflame to have to do that but saved me a trip to the dealer.
My 23 JLU with 2500 miles just did the static thing. I did this hard reset and it fixed it.

Thanks!

Hey guys I did a search but couldn't find anything...

All of a sudden tonight my speakers sound horrible like a static scratchy sound. Used balance to confirm it's all speakers, checked all sources and it's the same. Turned car on and off...messed with settings but no luck. I really don't want to bring this in to the dealer because it will be days before I can. Any suggestions? Has this happened to anyone.

FYI it's the upgraded Alpine system.

Thanks for any help.
My 2018 Jeep JL when into static mode a few days ago. I remember I was using the hands-free on the steering wheel and my radio froze for about two minutes.

Then it happened, static in all speakers no matter if I was using the usb, satellite radio or sirrus radio.

Then next day everything was fine.

I think unconnect static issue is stemming from the voice module in the radio trying to process information too fast.

My 2018 Jeep JL went into static mode a few days ago. I remembered using the Uconnect steering wheel voice feature. It appears the Uconnect voice feature was processing information too fast.

The next day everything was working just fine.
