SOT running wires for dash cam

When I was trying to run the power wires from the dash cam up by the mirror around the window frame to the A pillar, there is a very large space between the trim and the window and the wire just falls back out. Has anyone run wiring there that has the SOT?

Also, the rear camera wiring needs to be run and I am wondering whether it will be easier to run it along the floor or along the roof. Anyone that has run wiring to the rear of the Jeep with the SOT, I would appreciate any advice.

I didn't consider running it along the roof. Along the floor was pretty straightforward. Shockingly my wife loves running wires like that, so I handed her the pry tools and let her at it.

If it falls out of the channel use some two sided tape.
