Soft top window storage

The new design of the soft top windows is one of the biggest flaws IMO. I had the Clover Patch window roll on my JK and it kept the windows in a convenient place without losing cargo area. With the sliding more rigid window channels and the hard plastic "frames" on the side windows, they must be stored flat. Hopefully the Trektop will fix the issue.

Further update on my quest for a storage bag.

I heard back from my dealer who is unable to order the bag but did find an item number. I called Mopar who told me to call Jeep, I called Jeep who told me to contact Mopar. I then Contacted Jeep Wave Care who told me there is nothing they can do or find about this. I gave her the item number the dealer gave me but she said that does not show in their system. She spoke to the parts department in customer care and they could not find a item number either. The rep then told me that the only way to get this is to order it with the vehicle directly from the factory. After that there is no other way to get the bag as of right now. I asked how come my dealer can order me a new windshield, door, or even soft top frame pieces (I just had one replaced the other day) but can't order me a window storage bag. The rep said that is weird and they weren't sure.

I ordered mine with the bag but it didn’t show up. I was excited when they said it arrived last week (and surprised). I went to pick it up and it was the freedom panel bag. So now the have it on some sort of list to get when it becomes available ... someday.

I guess the answer is to have my dealer order one for me in another order the arc placing and pull it out for me prior to delivery.

I have only seen 1 picture of this can and it was here in this forum. Has anyone Seen it in person to know if it is worth all of the clamoring we are doing for it- or are we all just hopeful?

I have one, ordered from the dealer with my Jeep back in February. I still need to unpack some of the soft top parts, so I'll try to take pictures of the bag and the windows in the bag and how it fits in the Jeep.

Your dealer let you order a bag? Mine kept telling me that there is a system glitch that will not allow you to order if you have Dual Tops on the order.

Yeah, it was available on the order screen, dual tops and all. I actually ordered it on a whim and now I'm kinda glad.

Just got back from dealer. They called Jeep and were given the number. He looked it up and said it was back ordered and 0 available anywhere. I was offered to prepay $169 to get on back order list. I opted to be contacted when available.

I don't really want this. But...

I have my windows off/top down most of the time. I store everything flat stacked on top of each other in the back. When i put it back on the creases are terrible. After a few days they go away.

Let's face it. My windows are going to look like shit within a year.

Any advice other than buy the biggest window purse ever that you can't even order?

I ordered one as well but didn’t receive it (dual tops). Where was it located when you picked up the Jeep? Figure maybe there was some hidden compartment maybe I need to find! Dealer has me on a back order list but who knows if I will ever see it.

I'm very suprised no one has come to market with a legitimate solution yet. If one was available, I'd scoop it up in an instant!
