A $4,000.00 option could be money well spent somewhere else. Plus the power cloth top leaks does it not? I am seen videos of the material lifting up from around the frame during high winds.

That's my hesitation with the SOT, wife had either a Liberty or Patriot (I forget the model) back in 2010 with a similar roof. It was a nice feature but the wind noise was crazy, it'd lift up by the top of the windshield on the highway. I ended up adhering a piece of foam butyl on top of the track it fit into and we sold it back to the dealership we bought it from. It leaked slightly on heavy rain days and in the car wash. Hopefully they have improved the design.

I'm hitting 2 years in 2 weeks and my top doesn't leak. Also I can't compare but I use Bluetooth all the time for calls on the highway so noise is surprisingly low with it closed. Actually many a time I have a call coming in and hit the button to close it as I'm answering so I can talk.

I don't think the current SOT is anything like the old solutions they had. Hopefully they learned and improved it.

Like I said before getting opinions is good but only the buyer can say if worth it. For me it might be the best option I got and I have almost a fully loaded Sahara. For others it is a waste of money.
