Soft top maintenance/cleaner

I have '07 Mustang GT Convert with the black cloth top. About 5 years ago, I sprayed a product everyone recommended called Raggtop. Mask the windows with tape and plastic and spray away. 5 years later the top still looks like new and beads water.

As much as I love the 303 products for my boat covers, Raggtop is the best for cloth convert tops.

Here's a comparison to 303 Fabric Guard, you be the judge. I use 303 on my premium top and have been happy so far.

I have the regular soft top and I don’t think the fabric 303 is the right product. The regular top feels more like vinyl than fabric. Not totally sure. Anyone know the difference?

I have the Premium Soft Top and just used the Fabric 303 on it this weekend. OMG...I think I am going to like this stuff. Before treating, water seemed to soak into the top...after treating, water beads up on the top like it was freshly waxed.

I have 3 converibles and the 303 is the way to go, also use a soft bristle brush to scrub the top canvas when you wash, keep the top clean and treat it a couple times a year.

yes, the high end top is twill fabric. not sure what you would use on the vinyl, maybe the protectant they offf.

On my 2000 TJ, the top was a vinyl-like material and I used the standard 303 with good results.

No just use soap and water! Seriously don’t overthink it.
I seriously probably have one of the oldest premium tops in the Jeep world (Oct of 2012 when they first came out) it does not age! It looks like new all the time. I’ve never spent any effort or time worrying about it.

Ok..thanks. I just want to take maintain it. Will probably use Plexus for windows. My 95 wrangler started to haze after 3-4 years.
