Soft top help! So many issues.

I bought my JL end of March. Soft top locks won't detache, they adjusted them. Then I got little holes but couldn't prove I didn't cause them now the area where my bar is hitting the inside top area near my tape is rubbing. It is worn. I'm afraid it going to cause massive holes after my 35000 miles. It has about 20,000 at the moment here are the pixs. Anyone else had the issue and is it covered by the warrenty?

They are confused. Sending some adjuster out tomorrow for pixs and such. I'm wondering if anyone has had this issue. I don't baby my jeep and her top if filthy from road roading, but this has nothing to do with it and jeep is acting like somehow the rails are my fault. Wondering how common this is?

Well , It's defective , so they owe you a new soft top and equipment , at a minimum . Get a Regional Customer Service Advisor to guarantee you new soft top and equipment . Remember , they owe you . Be sure to ask for the name and phone number of the Regional Customer Service Advisor .

Okay thank you. I'll keep everyone posted. Hopefully this isn't going to start being a common issue with soft tops. Maybe it's not the design. Maybe mine was just defective. Update tomorrow!

So after 4 hours fighting about my soft top the dealership says it is not covered under warranty. Here s why apprantly even if you use the lock to hold it down they do not believe I didn't use safely straps which would prevent rubbing. Even though after showing the straps would not prevent the holes they will not cover my soft top. They also said the owners are suppose to pull the soft top away from the bars before locking so it is not against the bars. Which when I do it goes back to same position. I'm very disappointed. So far my radio was replaced, door safety hinge, and soft top locks had to be adjusted from locking and not releasing. Here are more pictures. Should I keep fighting for it to be fixed?? The in steam is also tearing the top alone is almost 2000 plus labor.

Maybe down the road, but I need a 2.5 lift and 35in tires before spring 2019.

Thank you. I will. I ignore the black grease from the bars and I ignored it jamming, but this is just bad when holes as big as nickles start developing.
