Well, thanks for confirming my thoughts on why I don't want a 2.0 JL...

I like full electric or full gas.. with real HP >300hp and >300ft/lb.. in "simple" package...

If I wanted MPG, I would not be buying a Jeep..

These MPG laws are driving the wrong behavior..

The system doesn't glue your throttle pedal to the floor. If you want less torque going to the wheels, give it less throttle. The motor isn't all or nothing; it's programmed to deliver torque proportional to pedal input.
