Novice question about trickle charging. Gathering from above that my 2018 2.0Turbo eTorque has 2 batteries total, the traditional 12Volt main and, instead of an alternator, the BSG/MGU 48Volt mild hybrid auxiliary that's used for ESS related events. Got a dashboard message recently about a battery issue and am using a 2Amp trickle charger on the 12Volt battery while parked, which is most of the time. Since the 48Volt battery is only active when the ignition is turned, the trickle charger does not see anything but the 12Volt battery(?). Curiosity raises the question - Would you, Could you, Should you - use a 2nd (48Volt) trickle charger to maintain the other (48Volt) battery?

These parts are absent on 2023 non eTorque engines right? Also does the new 3.6 V eTorque engines have similar set up?
