We went on a Saturday, so Dan was probably expecting Jeepers to call and show up. If you call last minute mid-week, it's possibke that he might not be around. Probably best to call well ahead, if possible, espeically if you go mid-week.

We had called a couple weeks ahead advising of our group size and planned time of arrival. Gave another heads up day prior. Super easy. It’s private property so I get it, but probably becoming a chore too.
