So just placed an order a few weeks back for front and rear Smittybilt XRC bumpers and was informed that the minimum lead time on these items is 90 days. I have been told that the workers went home (overseas), the company changed ownership etc, etc. Is everyone else hearing the same? is this normal? is there a similar product with the same warranty for same cost? I would love to hear your thoughts/opinions on this. I am new to the Jeep community. Thank you in advance!

Looks like Northridge shows them as discontinued.

Tons of bumpers out there, personally would recommend skipping over rugged ridge.

Goes further. Tranamerica was bought by Polaris a few years back, then it got sold to Wheel Pros. Sounds like Wheel Pros is gutting everything.

Transamerica is: TAP also owns Smittybilt, Pro Comp, 4 Wheel Drive Hardware, G2 Axle and Gear, Rubicon Express, Poison Spyder

Wheel pros bought Teraflex last year too.

You got to your edit before I could add the @TeraFlex purchase. Hopefully they dont go to shit, they posted on here that they were going to stay independent but who knows.

They already trashed the separate Bronco brand TF was planning, think it was Alterra.

So much for that. Their quality as of current is still good my old man just put their stuff on his JLR and its nice as of now.

Yeah, IIRC, Matson (Metalcloak) thought Wheel Pros was trying to push all the suspension stuff into Readylift eventually.

Gross, why would you want to do that. No way would I buy something as important as suspension from a company that sells it for seemingly every vehicle out there.

Should I wait? is the product worth the value and warranty or should I go with another solution. I like this style and width... and thanks for all the input here!

It sounds like the entire enterprise is currently in a shambles. They may or may not restructure.

I would look elsewhere unless you find a really good deal on it and don't care if there might be zero support if something goes wrong.
