Thanks for the additional info! And the gap between the front and rear seats is not a problem, the mattress is thick enough to compensate for the space.. so it doesn’t sag.. the original mattress they made was much thinner so there was some play, but the one they have now is thicker and fits perfectly..
We jeep camp a lot, its better than sleeping on the ground or setting up a roof tent. There is a company, can't recall the name but they make a mattress that is made for the jku and jlu. We enjoy the state parks thru out the Rockies, it seems like a good way to get back to nature and is very affordable.
Lay a comforter then a full size/queen fitted sheet over it...and good night...I'm considering the deepsleep but my problem is that I have a large black lab who will definitely puncture it with his nails. I'm guessing if I layer it with a couple of comforters it should hold up. Anyone have any clever ideas of how to protect this or another air mattress?
I used this with a DeepSleep and it was pretty good:Someone fabricate this then let me know how it goes... The lock/latch can be like one of those Mason jars wire locks on the inside of the window...
