The four wires you need to tap into are on the passenger side b-pillar. And they are easy to locate as they are the only ones twisted. Gray/Green and Gray/DarkGreen for left. Dark Green/Green and DarkGreen/Gray for right.

That's part of the problem and confusion!!!! In my jeep, there are only two wires to each side . . . Totally and completely perplexed by this . . . I looked the passenger side all over, only finding green wires!!!! Meaning REAR RIGHT, the driver side has the REAR GREY wires - so, I'll only be tapping into the RIGHT side . . . Hope it works but not too keen on running wires to both right and left . . .

2018 - Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport - JL - I was so thrown when I removed the B Pillar shell . . . The Green Twisted Wires were there, plain as day but I couldn't find the Grey Twister Wires to save my life . . . I finished the internet looking for answers and nothing . . . Images, diagrams, videos, forums - all no help! Taking for granted that the Grey Twisted Wires are on the driver side . . . Like, of course, my Jeep would be different from all the other Jeeps ever made - there are some yellow (more khaki than yellow twisted wires)?

Open that harness up more and I bet you’ll find the wires.

Shucks! Sorry about that. My wires were all on the passenger side. Maybe the Alpine system or the 4 door version changes this.

It still shouldn’t be too hard to pull from both driver side and passenger side.

I've only tapped into the one side (passenger) - seems to be working? Need to tweek it all but there's definitely bass . . .
When I tried connecting to one channel for my amp it made the sub work, but when I turned the volume up the sub popped and the amp shut down. I had to then connect both channels and it works fine properly now. Maybe I messed something up. Maybe @lashlee or @Nater34 can provide some clarity regarding this?

Have you turned the volume up and everything works fine?

@Ghostwolf I know you said the wires aren’t there but I had to pull that whole group of wires out of the track and undo the wraps to find all the wires. I then tapped into it zip tied everything back together.

I have had dinner and an entire pitcher of margarita, which was a celebration, to be honest! I have successfully installed the Kicker, have it attached to the passenger seat baby bjorn, blue light comes on and have set all the dials and toogles and can confirm . . . I have low end and "all about that bass, no treble"!!!!!! I am gonna ease into "pumping" the bass boats, letting the device warm up to usage . . . Based off of Crutchfield recommendation . . . There is definitely low end and a big difference. Very pleased and in a month or so, I'll push the limits (but not too much). It was not fun installing and I think I have torn or tweeked muscles I never knew I had, crawling under and performing Cirque du Soleil acts trying to run wiring and zip ties and heat wrap and being under the vehicle and upside down looking at the dials and toggles and tighten this and that and loosening this and that . . . I will say, Crutchfield and Kicker both really let me down in the install process and the car audio world can suck it!!!! 'Cause I didn't find shit online about the process! Very disappointing and hope it works for a long long long time moving forward . . . Great sense of accomplishment but still, rather have a root canal!!!

P.S. I found an entire slice of cake under the passenger seat . . . Kid you not . . . Like, what the actual fuck was going on in my vehicle before I took ownership and Carvana better be giving me some refund . . . Glitter, chocolate syrup, cake, bobby pins, cigarettes, potato chips, popsicle sticks, sprinkles, whip cream and a new one, make up powder and hair ties . . . Seriously, gross!!!

Seriously, I tore that entire bundle of wires apart and no GREY wires, what so ever!!!!!! There were some smaller gauge GREY wires with purple and orange but not a single GREY / GREEN combo . . . None!!!!!! I got it all to work but fear if I switch up the "balance" to all left - obviously, the sub would not produce sound . . . Fingers crossed, the engineering of songs does not eff with the low end being produced via left or right . . . I have a solid little punch, which is what I was hoping for!!

I'm thinking they split the wires to driver and passenger . . . Odd is right . . . So weird . . . I have it working (for now) - let's hope it continues . . .
