Is anyone else noticing the side soft top window sags in the middle? I thought it was a summertime thing, but still drooping in the cold. I read somewhere that it's due to the length of the window. Seems common, I notice it on other JLs. Any fixes out there?

How old was the Jeep when you first noticed this?

That shouldn't be sagging like that

Is it my imagination or is that a GIANT dog tongue licking the window on the inside... that could be a problem!

Or maybe just a reflection... ;)

Ahaha I see it!!

Looks like a box or something leaning against inside the window. Prob a reflection.

I wouldn’t call it a sag but by driver side has a bulge along the top of the window.

Yup that's it. A bulge or sag. I've seen it on all JLUs around here. I could have sworn I read it's due to the length of the window compared to a JK. Just another Jeep design quirk I guess.

I have a 2018 JLU Sahara with the premium soft top and it has sag in all 3 windows. It didn’t used to, then over the summer it started sagging more and more and never rebounded. It makes more noise at speeds 50+ mph as a result, which really annoys me. Picture attached.

I took it to the dealer and he said it’s normal and showed me another Jeep from the lot with sagging windows. He basically said “deal with it, it’s happening to them all”. Just fair warning to everyone in warm weather climates... buy the hard-top and then get yourself an aftermarket soft top apparently... unless my dealer is just blowing smoke?

Mopar needs to rethink the liability aspect, if the window is sagging enough it is likely distorting the drivers view which would create a safety issue

I've seen new ones on the lot too. They all have this bulge or sag. Rear window is fine.

I had a slight droop on both side windows on my JLR in the rear of the window. Temperature didn’t seem to impact it and it got progressively worse over time.

I have my passenger window starting to droop, and rear and driver side are normal. All flaps are tight.
