Good luck with it! Your post reminded me I’ve got 2 rear King shocks leaking. Was hoping to get those fixed instead of buying more. Better get on that!

Yeah if I had Kings I'd probably get them re-built. Those things are expensive. 🤣

When I got my EVO kit the options were Kings or Fox 2.0. Now on their site they got rid of the Fox option and can do Bilstein or King. Or just no shocks and buy whatever you want I suppose. I've been thinking about eventually getting King reservoir shocks but not sure if that's the way to go. How do you feel they handle on the road, the rocks and washboarded dirt roads?

They’re definitely not the cheapest option around. But I like things to match 🤣. And rebuilding is much preferable to having to buy new if I can get it done. Thats interesting they got rid of Fox as an option. Too bad wasn’t when you had yours done. Mine aren’t the reservoir shocks but I have some friends that have them and they’re amazing. At least IMO. I feel they definitely smoothed things out off-road and those nasty washboard roads.

Just found out I’m on the same bot. I got two semi dead Fox 2.0’s, one that’s hanging in there trying to survive and one that’s living its best life. I’d like some Adjustable Kings, but I also would like to keep $3000 in my bank account.

I'm trying to decide if it feels any different now that I have all new Fox's on there but to me it all still just drives like a Jeep. 🤷‍♀️

I’m sure once you get it off road, you’ll feel a difference.
After seeing my shocks, I realized why those roads in Death Valley felt extra wild. Got 6 years out of them, at least I got my money’s worth.

Just because the shock was leaking doesn't mean it was actually under preforming. If the leak was new and wasn't very bad yet, they could of still been working fine, or mostly fine.
Maybe you caught it before it really started to effect the performance.
