Selec-Speed Control vs Hill-Descent Control (Solved)

My sticker for reference:

i have seen other stickers where it says “Selec-Speed Control” right underneath the transmission for those people who have the selec-speed Option in their Jeeps just like mine says “Hill-Descent Control”

My money is on the Selec-Speed option only comes with a Rubicon that has the advanced safety group.....

I 100% think it is because of the upgraded tcase, I just think above user could have a wrong button in place of the hill descent one? Weirder crap has happened in the factory. Although what are the odds of that particular jeep finding its way into this thread?

I really hope that with more input, we can find out exactly what the reason is behind this. I find it highly unlikely Jeep randomly put either hill-descent or selec-speed

Downloaded three window stickers of 2021 JLURs on dealer lots. All three were almost fully loaded and include Advanced Safety Group. However, all three still only say Hill-Descent Control under the transmission listing instead of Selec-Speed Control.

Yes I saw that. But yours doesn’t show either option under the transmission listing. So I am guessing it’s a Canada thing.

I looked at a couple more window stickers on jeep.com except this time, I chose the 2.0 turbo. Lo and behold, they both say “Selec-Speed Control” under the transmission listing!

it was indeed an engine thing!
