Question: I’ve seen videos of Toyota owners intentionally burying their vehicles in SAND up to the axles to demonstrate how Crawl Control will slowly move wheels to gradually cause the vehicle to lift itself out of the sand and get unstuck. Will the Wrangler’s Speed Selec Control be able to replicate Toyota’s Crawl Control? Note: I have a ‘24 JL. I know the basics of SSC. I just don’t know if it works similarly to Toyota’s Crawl Control and in particular if it would gradually get a Wrangler out of sand if buried to the axles. Thanks in advance.

None... but it pays well.
In theory it should... type of tires play an important part in low traction environments.

The key is to go slow and steady, as the system is designed to do. It will figure it out, and pull the Jeep out.

IMO the system when used properly will do better than a limited slip. Reason being limited slips have a set torque curve on bias. The system can detect how much brake is needed in not to over power and break traction.

Also there are so many comparisons with just about everything. Problem is they have bias towards a product or the demonstration is done with lack of knowledge. Example... I have a lithium battery jumpstarter that gets some stupid funny and careless reviews by the average Joe and by persons biased on props for a competitor. Yes I can recreate the issues to make it look inferior, but in proper use and care, those issues are never seen. In fact does better than advertized in some aspects.

Bump. Anyone else have any thoughts or have used SSC as described in the OP? Thanks again.
