Selec-Speed Control vs Hill-Descent Control (Solved)

Looks the same as mine, there are 2 RocTrac options. I think we all have the upgraded one?

Yes I’m aware that the 2021 rubicon’s have the optional full-time rock trac. That isn’t the issue here. There is a post above from a member who does not have the full-time rock trac but does have the selec-speed button.

Once again, I would agree with that except if you scroll up and look at @Mtenna99 post, you will see that he has the part-time rock-trac transfer case, and he has the selec-speed button instead of the hill descent button.

I don't see where he says or shows he has part time Roc Trac. I'm not being obtuse here, I literally don't know how you know that from his post above.
@Mtenna99 can you confirm you have the base Tcase or the upgraded TCase?

Just look at his transfer case lever in the photo he posted.

The full time has 5 positions(2H, 4H Auto, 4H Part time, N, 4L)

The part time only has 4 positions(2H, 4H, N, 4L

That is also the only guess I have left! Which is why I asked about the advanced safety group since I don’t have that option on my jeep.

Nope, I don't have the front camera. I have literally every other option except one touch roof and steel Mopar though. Mine's a 21 for reference sake.

Just for verification, I do have the advanced safety group with adaptive cruise control and the advanced full time Rock-Trac which says “4H Auto” on my transfer case lever.

I believe he is referring to the camera in front of the rear view mirror that is used for the adaptive cruise control, not the front trail cam.

Not the front grille camera, the camera at the top of the windshield that the Jeep uses for adaptive cruise control. It only comes with the advanced safety group.

I 100% think it is because of the upgraded tcase, I just think above user could have a wrong button in place of the hill descent one? Weirder crap has happened in the factory. Although what are the odds of that particular jeep finding its way into this thread?
