Still have the manufacturers plastic sheet on the wife's Acadia a few years ago, it's holding up just fine. There's no gouges or scratches, we don't touch it as often as a phone screen. Depending on the sheet that comes on the rubi (properly applied and no bubbles), may hold out the same.

Before this thread I never thought about a screen protector, but now I just ordered one. Lol
An ounce of protection is worth a pound of cure...

Also, do consider buying the sun visor clips from Taccom that make the stock visor brackets more stout.

I used the Mopar screen protector. No issues. Easy to install. I recommend it. You get 2 of them in the package for less then $20.

I did not realize this was a issue? Did Jeep make any running changes to the visor over the model years? I have a 2022 JLR on order. I never had a issue with the visors on my '19JLR but I probably did not use the visor much.

I noticed they make 2 versions. One with 2 attachment points (2) screws and another with (1) screw. Which one is recommended?

Same here. Put it on when Jeep was new. Still haven't switched to 2nd one. Its definitely helped vs some of the other screens I see on peoples' cars/jeeps.

Good information on here, thanks. I never considered one but I just may go get one now. Any links or names for the ones you've used?
You can't go wrong with the Mopar protectors. You get 2 per package.

Same here. Voice control!
That or steering wheel controls. I honestly think the only time I touch the screen in the GC is to turn off/on heated or cooled seats, or to put the suspension in jacking mode when I rotate the tires. I don’t touch it for anything else.

The GC has 32k mi on it and our Wrangler 61k, both screens look new.

Just installed one of the tempered glass ones off Amazon. So nice. Much better than stock.
I used Mopar before and had no issues but I am open. How is the Amazon sourced one better, in what way? Which brand?
