Rugged Cargo Bags

Looking for a set of rugged cargo bags to go behind the rear seats for JLU. Any suggestions? Anyone already using these?

I've been using Home Depot's Husky bags. Very inexpensive and come in multiple sizes. I have a hand tool bag, recovery bag, tire bag, and strap bag.

Yeah if you're just after bags you throw back there I also recommend the Husky bags.

I use these for everything, incl luggage.

Take a look in your local HD. Open them up and think seriously about the ones with a light gray interior. Talk to your wife about purses and you'll see all women already know what Husky finally figured out on tool bags: it's difficult to see into a black hole.

I have husky bags as well. socket and box wrench's, tire kit, electrical and testing equipment, and misc parts. bag. currently working on getting the Milwaukee bolt carrier tub. have three of them for work. so easy and they snap together to make moving them around super easy. i like being able to take my bags out easily when not off-roading and when i have the doors off. Highly recommend some hand bags.

I don't understand this. It's a bag.. You open up the tailgate and toss it in.

How it looks in the Jeep....in the cargo area, who cares? You can figure this out with the tiniest bit of imagination and homedepot.com, but still better to visit the store and lay hands on the offerings.

It's a duffel bag, sitting in a vehicle. Pretty simple.

no.. I'm thinking of something that is mounted/suspend behind the rear seats with pockets etc. I have seen a few but they are connected to a full seat cover which I'm not into.

I have a set of the Gama roll bar bags from https://xgcargo.com/ and really like them. May add their Magellan bags, too. Definitely not a quick on/off solution, but for long term storage they work great.

I have a large DeWalt tool bag. Holds a lot and is very well made. People sell them cheap at times on eBay

Depends on what you want to put in them but, if you are considering tools, would recommend something that doesn't get stored that far back in your jeep as you will most likely want to pull it and go to wherever the jeep is that needs the assistance. If you put the bags on the back of the rear seat then you may have to unload a bunch of stuff to get to whatever you have in those bags or lean over the rear seat to get it, then there is putting it back. In case you change your approach I have a few of these. They come in different sizes and now colors, very durable and even washable if desired. Google and shop around, can probably find them cheaper but this is a start.

very fond of being able to remove my bags when needed on the trail and when im around town and don't need them at all. i also run smaller canvas bags inside to keep organization up. cant stand having everything thrown into one bag. but as you see i have about 10 of the huskey bags i use all the sizes. this is my work truck tool box setup. missing a few bags as i am working in the shop with them. lol
