I'm not very knowledgeable about shipping costs, so I couldn't venture a guess. It weighs 58lbs and measures at around 26 x 17 x 19 inches without shipping box/padding. My zip code is 97215 in case you want to check out what different shippers would charge.
Not sure what shipping would be, but if you figured on about 5 lbs and a box about a cubic foot, UPS quotes about $35. It's probably not that heavy and can fit in a smaller box, so that is probably a high estimate. USPS would likely be a bit cheaper, as well.
Recently got a trailer which means a number of things we have are now redundant. Asking roughly 1/2 of the lowest price I found from a reputable source for a new version:
Rhino Batwing 270 awning (left side) MSRP: $913 Asking: $460
ARB Zero 47 Fridge MSRP: $1,136 Asking: $575...
I have a similar issue, except that we have a narrow driveway, a 1 car garage, and a manual gearbox, which means lots of clutch slipping to reverse a short trailer - not good. I ended up getting a Warn drill winch and pulling our trailer up the driveway with that. Not sure how heavy the trailer...
Our Skycamp 2.0 is mounted to the crossbars on a Gobi Stealth rack. Or at least it used to be. Now it is mounted to the top of our Patriot X1N. Does that answer your question?
It does fit on the passenger side - barely. But the lid cannot open completely (this fridge is pretty tall compared to many others of similar size). We use a bungy cord looped over the roll bar to hold the lid open when needed. It's a little crude, and I would probably design a slicker solution...
Wow, what an experience. Thank you so much for documenting and posting all of this. You made our trailer choice a lot easier between the TB, the Off Grid Switchback, and the Patriot. Decided to go with a Patriot X1N. Will be picking it up later this Fall. The Aussies seem to have this trailer...
Do you happen to know what length and drop ball mount your friend uses to tow his Patriot camper? We just ordered an X1N and I want to be sure we get the set up correct.
Sorry about the late reply - I've been off the forum for awhile. The platform I built was designed to make the top of the tank flush with the seats, per my dog's request. ;-)
If you have the tow package you can avoid the issues mentioned above by tapping into the reverse light wire on the 7-pin connector using a PosiTap and then waterproofing it with Liquid Electrical Tape.
Same problem here. Solved it with the Wireless One set up from Air Lift. I installed the compressor in the rear cargo storage area and ran the wiring directly from the battery through the passenger side frame rail.

I had similar issues with mine until I bled the clutch. Helped a lot. It's not like my old S2000 or my wife's Golf R, but significantly better than before.
