Yeah all the other videos I saw were either open pits and grills or cars with the hood up. I wanted to try it in real conditions that we see on fire calls.

That’s appreciated and will definitely have me open the hood ASAP in the event of an engine compartment fire.

Time to update this thread...it's been a while as work has been kicking my butt.

Here's one pic just to catch things up. I'm working on video content involving the new mods.

- Rugged Ridge Fender Chop Kit (video coming)
- Expedition One Mule Mid-Rack (I'll detail that more as I get accessories fitted to it)
- Full Artec Aluminum Skid System (video coming)
- The last addition I'm not allowed to talk about yet as it's just about to release. (video on this is finished, waiting on manufacturer to give me the go ahead)

Here's some additional pics of the Rugged Ridge Fender Chop Kit in action. A couple of observations, the RR kit does not have the cool sequential turn signal feature like found on the AAL and Quake kits.

It does however allow me to keep my factory fender liner which was important to me. I also like how 'finished' the fenders look with the black factory edge. Also, in the DRL mode the light output is substantial, giving you a little illumination close in, just in front of the tires. That was an unexpected bonus!

In this pic you can get a sense of the forward and downward light output. I should be able to show this feature better in the upcoming video.

Thanks Mike Lighting is tricky to photograph with the various exposures you are dealing with.

I had some time tonight after work to see if my Yakima JayLow Kayak carriers will adapt nicely with the new Expedition One Mule Rack. Good news, they fit the cross rails perfectly and there is clearance on the height. Here's a look...

This is what clearance looks like on the F/R of the rack. I haven't loaded my kayak on yet, but it looks like it will clear.

I also played around with mounting my RotoPax fuel cells.

I'll probably run some configuration like this, which still allow for me to throw a weather tight duffle up top.

Started unboxing the AAL Dual ARB Compressor Mount System. The design, fabrication and quality of their products is top shelf.

Now...if I can get my hands on the ARB Twin which has been on back order for well over a month, I'll have onboard air finally.

A quick update on the Expedition One Mule Rack and fitting my Kayak via the Yakima JayLow Carrier. The carrier fits the cross bars perfectly and I have great clearance on the kayak front and rear off the top of the rack....
