I have to say, Moab was amazing. I can’t wait to get back there and explore more than the 3 days I had.

It truly is! Like no other place. We had a great trip, mixing pleasure with a lot of content shooting. The town was buzzing which is always cool to see.

I'm looking forward to getting back late summer, early fall for more wheeling, quieter trails.

Did you 7 Mile Rim?

I was shooting on 7 Mile late Sunday evening with RSE. What day did you run it?

-Steven
yeah. It wasn’t too bad at all for a stock JL. I went solo on this trip. My daughter and I did 7 mile rim last Wednesday.

I can’t wait to go back. As much as I’d like to go during EJS, I think I’ll plan around it. Hopefully I’ll have more clearance by that time.

You bring up a great point...a stock JL is an incredibly capable machine.

If you weren't registered for a trail, you were likely going to find trails closed for the EJS event. It's a very cool event to experience, but if you're looking to run trails, a different time of year would be better.

might have to piggy back when you go. That's one of my "must go" place. I've only mountain bike out there once.

Let's see if we can make this happen. I'd love to have a few others to wheel with if possible.

@KAMIECON Here's a little clip to wet your appetite. This is the first big obstacle on Poison Spider. I was a little cautious...I should have just rolled it right on up was I had traction. Poison Spider is a lot of fun.

Consider yourself invited Amigo! The more the merrier. I need to take a serious look at my calendar and see what time I'll have.

I'm thinking mid to late Aug., and mid to late Sept.. Thoughts?

Mid to late august would probably work best. I’ll DM you. It would be awesome to go out with the rig!

Sorry this posted without the visuals. The site would not let me simply copy the file(too large).

Give me a bit, and I'll try again to share that with you.

Good video. I guess I can’t feel too bad only running a couple trails too. There’s just so much to explore!

Thanks Mike! There is a lot to do while in Moab, especially EJS week. I thought I'd be wheelin' more trails but I did get to two new trails/areas I hadn't seen before...Johnson's Up On Top and Behind the Rocks. Both of those had us out there creating content.

We also spent one evening on 7 Mile Rim between Monitor and Merrimac Buttes shooting. That had us rolling back in around 9:30pm. After dark the experience is very different very cool, especially if you're running multiple Jeeps.
