I would like to make the add on skid plates removable. It would be nice to put them on only when wheeling. Has anyone done this?

Just thinking they are going to get pretty beat up. It’s my daily so it would look nicer. I guess the little bit of weight savings would be nice too.

Instead of worrying about whether your skid plates look good, whether Tommy was really into jeeping or just looking for clickbait, which decals look cool, or how to defend your ability to "you do you" with silly mall combat vehicles; folks ought to worry more about that motorcycle battery jeep hid under their real battery. Jeep is not good at batteries and that one is proving to be particularly sneaky and unreliable. It goes out unexpectedly, which is dangerous if you're on road or off, and it requires a major mod to replumb the electrical system to get rid of it.

Forget Tommy. Forget the scratches. Forget Lite Brite. Forget the decals and the spinners on your wheels. Worry about that unreliable motorcycle battery and what it does to your entire system when it goes bad.
