I will be there Thursday of EJS thru Wednesday of the following week. I am going with two other JL’s. This will be our first time at EJS. We did not sign up for any guided tours.
I am under the impression we can run any trail just about any time on our own at our own pace? Any input or help for a first timer would be appreciated.

That is correct - but some trails are exclusive to Red Rock 4 Wheelers EJS trail rides on certain days.

Anyone else going? My Saturday ride (Porcupine Rim) still has some availability. I’ve biked it before as part of the world famous “Whole Enchilada” Mountain Bike trail, and think it should be a lot of fun.

Are any or all of these (circled red) doable in a stock JLU Rubicon? Guessing the 2 & 3s certainly are. How about level 4 ones?

I’ll be down in Sedona and I’m thinking of an excursion up to Moab to ride one of these on Sat 4/16.

Chicken corners is doable in a Subaru, your Rubicon will laugh at it. Pretty sure Dome Plateau and Crystal Geyzer are doable as well. Probably all of them TBH, REDrock 4wheelers are quite conservative in their trail equipment requirements.

I’ve heard crystal geyzer is cool, but the trail is pretty boring. If it were me, I’d say Dome Plateau. I’ve heard the views are pretty spectacular.

We’ve extended our stay to include Tuesday and Wednesday now so Tue-Sun.
Found a group running TOTW on Wednesday and added Chicken Corners & Gemini Bridges to our to-do list.

Fins and Things and Hells Revenge should be doable in a stock Rubicon if you air down properly. You can use that as a guide to the trail ratings. I would be willing to take my Sport on those trails.
