Hey everybody, I'm finally ready to bite the bullet and order a lift from Northridge4x4.

I should've asked this a long time ago, but I would like to know the differences between the RK series lifts:
  • X-Factor
  • Ultimate Adventure
  • Adventure
  • No Limits
I was going to order the 3.5" X Factor No Limits with the Fox Performance 2.0 IFP shocks.

I was also going to order an Adams driveshaft series 1350 for the front/rear, and a Fox Performance 2.0 IFP steering stabilizer.

I was leaning toward AEV, but northridge says out of stock. My jeep is my daily driver so I want a smooth ride (better than oem if possible) and moderate to heavy offroad use a couple times a year. I know I don't need the highest performance, but I live by "buy once cry once".

I'll still be sitting on my stock 33s for a while (probably until around christmas), then upgrading to 35s or 37s. I know it'll look like I skipped leg day, but lift kits are expensive lol.

Short and dirty description of the different packages:

  • XFactor -
    • Mid-Arm system, no welding needed

  • XFactor X2 - More designed for the hardcore wheeler.
    • Longer control arms for more flex and better geometry.
    • Weld-on frame brackets

  • Flex - For the serious trail wheeler.
    • Mid-Arm system, no welding needed
    • One end of LCA is fixed, the other adjustable.

  • Adventure Series - More for mild overloading and trail riding.
    • Mid-Arm system, no welding needed
    • Fixed Lower Control Arms.

  • Ultimate Adventure - Just a more Ultimate package than the standard Adventure series with more parts.
    • Mid-Arm system, no welding needed
    • Fixed LCAs
    • Adjustable Upper Control Arms.

Ahh I didn't realize the X factor had weld on frame brackets. I read "complete bolt in system" and just assumed the brackets bolted on.

It doesn’t weld on, that’s the long arm kits that you need to weld on..… the xfactor is the top of the line mid arm kit…The XFactor no limits kit is what I would recommend if your budget allows it…

just ordered it! I also got a fox 2.0 steering stabilizer, adams 1350 extreme duty front driveshaft and a RK 4” bump stop kit

I removed the rear driveshaft as it didnt seem to be something RK recommended

Awesome!! The no limits sway links part of the lift is Rubi specific, don’t need them if you don’t have a Rubi….

I have a rubi. I won't be putting this lift on for a few months until I can afford some new tires. I don't think a 3.5" w/ 33s would look right lol

I ran the Ultimate Adventure series for a while and was very impressed with it. Just upgraded to the X-Factor, but haven't had a chance to put it through its paces. I'm at 3.5" and run 37s...I think its the perfect combination!

XFactor doesn’t require welding, it’s a mid arm kit…..only long arm kits weld on…….XFactorX2 and Adventure X

Thanks for the replies everyone, they’re appreciated.

I was going to replace my drag link and tie rod also, but unsure what to order.

I’d like to stay rock krawler but I’m reading good things about yeti steersmart products.

At the same time, I’ve also read people run into issues where the yeti is having some interference with the front diff. Has anybody run into this issue?

Also, are there ANY more parts I should upgrade before throwing on 37s? I’ll plan on doing the brakes in the near future

Both are good for the track bar, you could go either way:

Rock Krawler JL Front Track Bar:
https://www.northridge4x4.com/part/track-bars/rk06187hd-rock-krawler-front-hd-adjustable-track-bar

Steer Smarts Jl Front Track bar:

For the Drag link, go with the Steer Smarts, They are the burliest drag links out there and their 1.5 ton tie rod ends are awesome:
