@Rock Krawler Suspension , on the 2.5" xfactor tt kit, should the bottom front shock bolts be this close to the lower control arms? I even tried adding some more washers and it looks like the bolt is still hitting the arm.

I ended up cutting mine with a grinder. Works just fine now. I had same issue. And i can still take the bolt in and out.

@Rock Krawler Suspension Not even 24hrs old but we're loving it! Wife's out driving it now and texted that she's liking the added height and feels pretty similar to stock. I probably just lost my Jeep haha.

For anyone curious my JLUR Softtop sitting on Toyo RT 37x12.50R17 and Rock Krawler 2.5" Adventure Series is sitting at 79.5" and fit in my standard garage with about 1.5" to spare.

You could certainly trim some off of the end of the bolt without issue.

@Rock Krawler Suspension with the 2.5" lift, the manual recommends an 8" length front sway bar link. Should that make the sway bar just about parallel to the ground when jeep is sitting at ride hide? I have heard people recommend this for the JKs but not sure if that carries over to the JL. At 8" links the sway bar is about 30deg from parallel to the ground.

I just installed the RK 2.5" Max Travel kit with Falcon 2.1 shocks... I'm running Cooper STT PRO 37x13.5 tires and my ride is pretty rough. I'm reading through the forums and people keep saying their ride is just like stock and I can certainly say that is not the case for me. My tires are at 33 PSI. Thoughts or suggestions?

Are you on 18 or 20 “ rims ? If so those tires are a 10 ply or a “e” rated tire which is for a much heavier vehicle, so they’re going to ride a little stiffer. If you have a programmer (tazer etc.) you can put your tire pressure at 30 warm which will be 26-27 cold and you’ll have to lower your tpms alert to 23 or so...:).

Yes, I am running the tires on 20s and I do have the Tazer programmer. I'll lower the PSI some more in the tires then and see if that helps. I looked at all of the cooper options to find one that is not an 'e' rated tire, but then i would have had to change my wheel b/c it unfortunately did not come in anything smaller than a 20.

Thanks!

@Rock Krawler Suspension , I also had to do a bit of "adjusting" on the passenger side sway bar relocation bracket to get it to fit (I also had to grind off a little bit of the stock tab). One other person in this thread has had to make adjustments as well as someone on another thread that I was reading, you guys might want to re-look at the dimensions of this part. Also have a question for you, for torquing items where you re-use stock hardware do we use factory Mopar torque values or the ones by bolt size you have listed in your instruction manual? Thanks!

The links should make the sway bar sit an an upward angle to account for the amount of downtravel gained when lifting and not allow the sway bar to flip when that corner is at full droop.

33 PSI on a E rated 37" tire with 20's is going to be way less compliant than a C load range or an E with 17's... That's the nature of the combination that you've selected. The Falcon 2.1's have not have positive feedback from their users when pairing with our springs. They've used digressive valving and when paired with triple rate springs, yields a very stiff ride.

If it were my jeep, there's a couple things I'd do. Start by dropping tire pressure substantially, look at probably 22-23 psi in the front and 2 psi less in the rear. That should be a noticeable difference. Secondly I would shop for different shocks and ask people's input who have experimented but a Bilstein 5100 or a Fox should do much better for you. I don't want to bash the Falcon 2.1's, they just don't pair up well with multi rate springs.

Thank you for those suggestions. I did lower my PSI down to 28 this morning and that helped on the highway. The road in my subdivision is still beating me to death vs what it was like when it was stock. I'll check into different shocks.

FWIW I am installing the RK X Factor 2.5 stage 1 kit with the RK shocks right now. I am doing it without a lift and around my work schedule so it's not a one day deal for me, front end is done and I should be finished in a day or two. I will post here how I think the RK shocks ride. I live on a pretty nasty road myself.

That would be great! What wheels and tires are you going to be running?
