I called Genesis offroad and spoke to Mike who is one of there techs and he advised he has seen some batteries last 10 years and others last only 3-4 it all depends on there environment, ...

I love the Genesis dual battery products (have the DIY Kit - tray only), but discharging batteries separately and charging them together via a voltage-switched solenoid is not optimal for maximizing battery life. A more modern approach is to isolate the aux/house battery with a dedicated DC-DC charger. I use a REDARC BCDC 1225.

Well I have since retired and left Houston and am back in the midwest.

Here are the two chargers I have used, the NOCO 10 has a AGM setting but the Odyssey 20 does not.

So your advice is not to charge them weekly even if it sits for several days undriven ?

Several days is nothing to worry about. Several weeks or more would warrant a recharge. Typically a lead acid battery can sit with no charge or discharge for 4-6 months before it will require a maintenance charge to help counter act the self discharge properties of the battery. If the temperature is normal and not hot or above 85F you can charge more frequently. I'm not sure what the minimum charge current is for the Odyssey but the Noco 10 has a maintenance charge that is fairly small and gentle charge current, this is much easier on the battery and will prevent over charging. If you want to charge more frequently or even weekly, use the Noco 10. I would not use the Odyssey for weekly charge maintenance.

When I get the new batteries I will just use the NOCO 10 maybe monthly, let it trickle charge over night and be done for the month.

The Odyssey goes thru a conditioning process for like 4-6 hours and when I have checked it the voltage output is 14.5 then it drops down to like 13.5 for its storage process, maybe I cooked them some by using the Odyssey 20 so often.

Genesis recommended to charge the batteries before installing them but they did not advise which charger to use

I might have missed it, but how often are you driving the Jeep?? A regularly driven vehicle should not need any outside battery maintenance assuming the charging system is functioning properly.

Well received my new batteries today and am giving them a quick boost before installing and will rely more on the Jeeps charging system to do the work rather than using a weekly charge, my hopes are the new batteries fix all my issues but since the others tested bad with low CCA’s even though they charged fine

Well out with the old and in with the new, about a 45 min install and no issues and after all was said and done JL is cranking out a good charge voltage at 14.5 and remote start works great with no issues.

I took the old batteris and had them tested again and one had 210 CCA’s and the other one was 218 but advised they were fully charged but failed the test, they also advised they failed some resistance test but no matter it's done and I'm broke

I will follow the advice of @Nvdardx28 and just use the NOCO 10 Genius every few months if needed or if its going to be parked for along time as I don't want to over cook these new ones like I likely did with the old so lesson learned as sometimes bigger is not always better on chargeing.
