The dreaded JB freeze

Jeep chat just says it entered shipping today but nothing scheduled. blah blah blah. At least it moved.

That’s where I am. ETA today thru Monday but I figured they would know if it was going to be here today, right?

I am still stuck in JB with my dual top order... talked with Jeep Chat today, they told me that soft tops are delayed until mid-March

Well, I can’t confirm it personally, but today my JLUR was delivered to the dealer and I can get it tomorrow, so there is hope!! Don’t worry guys, I’ll still come visit the JB crew

After 5 days being stuck in I, today my jeep joined the JB freeze, most likely to install the headliners and hopefully they do this quickly.

I ordered on 1/23 and had dual tops. I went to JB on 2/15 and just went to KZ today with an estimated delivery date so there is hope that it won't take until mid March for a soft top.

So, as promised, I got my JLUR today, sans top! It really was a breeze, and I can't say enough how much I enjoy this thing. While I was there (Koons), my dealer got other calls from folks in the same boat, and they either have or soon will be having theirs shipped sans top as well. I got a "We Owe You" form with premium soft top written on it signed by the dealer, as well as a copy of the email from the Jeep rep in Toledo confirming this arrangement. I can also confirm that the VIN is the same as my order the whole time.

Hope that makes folks feel better. There is a light at the end of the tunnel I promise!

Congrats on picking up your order. Mine must have been on the same truck as it arrived at Koons today as well. Unfortunately out of town this week for work so I have to wait till Friday to make the trip to VA to pick her/him up

I live pretty close to Koons, so I will just go get it when it arrives. Considering the weather, I don't mind not having to store it for a few weeks... ;-)

I posted this in order tracking also. Hi guys. So, I spoke with Amber in JC (she is always awesome..btw) and asked her some questions about the soft top delays because some orders are fulfilled in less than three weeks-no judgement She still sticks to the mid-March installation of the soft tops. She also says that there really isn’t an order to whose order is fulfilled first-that’s unfortunate. As far as people getting their orders shipped without the soft top, well that’s up to your dealer to request specific information from Jeep. Hope this helps

The people getting these without their tops is a dealer with another build that will take the top and give it to the recent order and telll, or maybe not, the newest orders that there is a top shortage. Period. I don’t care what they say FCA will not ship the Jeep without the top and ship later. JMO
