I currently have a 2023 Jeep Wrangler with 35-inch tires.
The factory bumper and upgraded tire carrier were make too much noise so I switched due an aftermarket Rough Country tire carrier attached to metal bumper. I have had nonstop problems with it becoming loose and making noise again.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good, noise free, strong tire carrier / bumper.

Thanks!!

You could remove the tire carrier from your rear bumper and go with something like this, which reinforces the tailgate so it can carry more weight. This particular one not only reinforces the tailgate, but replaces the hinges as well.

The only bumper I know of with a swing away, integrated tire carrier, that will be mostly noise free, would be an AEV. The price for the bumper and tire carrier together can be off putting for most.

When I got my Jeep, I got it with the Xtreme Recon off roading package. It made a lot of noise. That's why I removed it and went with a swing away carrier to get it off the bumper. It's been nothing but problems.

This is the one I have currently: Rear Bumper | Trail | Tire Carrier | Jeep Wrangler JL (18-26)/Wrangler Unlimited (18-26) | Rough Country

(I just got rearended yesterday - so trying to find a new good quality bumper)
LoD is a great product, great customer service…. I’m wrapped all the way around with their bumpers and rock sliders.( I don’t have the integrated carrier, my tire carrier is EVO) They’ve held up really well, no issues….But, they are a bit spendy…..

CavFab was my first choice.

Their Elite tire carrier replaces the stock hinges on the tailgate and can hold A LOT of weight. I have 35's and then I'll carry a 5 gallon Jerry can of fuel and a 5 pound propane tank on the tire carrier when needed. The tire carrier includes a license plate relocation bracket to mount thru the tire if that is the way you want to go.

Their Crawler series full width rear bumper took a few good hits in Moab and didn't budge or dent. I did lose a little paint tho.

I used the LOD license plate relocation bracket on the CavFab bumper for my rear license plate.

Your Jeep Looks Awesome. I really like the style of the carrier as well:) Does it rattle? I am contemplating if its better to put the tire carrier back on the tailgate or if I should do another Bumper/Tire Carrier combo?

Zero rattles with the CavFab tire carrier.

I've had a bumper mounted tire carrier in the past on my TJ (LOD) and it was okay, but I knew I'd never do one again when I got the JL. Too many moving parts and it did rattle.

I've noticed bumpers with the integrated tire carriers aren't as popular as they used to be. I assume it's because tailgate reinforcement options are more popular, quieter, and overall easier to open and close.

I totally agree on too many moving parts as I cant stand the rattling. I really like the look of the CavFab style that you shared and it looks AWESOME on the jeep and looks strong hold.

I've got Rusty's tire carrier and I'm very happy with it and would highly recommend it. It's a little more expensive than Cavfab but it comes e-coated and powdered coated black. I use all 5 tires when I rotate them so the fact that I didn't have to worry about disconnecting the camera or 3rd brake light to get the tire off was another bonus.

I also really like the Cavfab tire carrier and don't think you can go wrong with their product either.
