Rear-View Mirror Camera (that isn't trash)?

Does anyone have a rear-view mirror/dashcam system that isn't a piece of trash? Even these Wolfbox ones perform so poorly at night, I'm surprised they're legal.

Is there really not a solution that provides quality, live, rear-view video without glare at night that makes it unusable, and a screen that is bright enough to be seen in sunlight?

Also, as an aside – why are they making the forward-facing cameras higher resolution than the rear?? Isn't the whole point to use the system as a live rear-view mirror? Wouldn't you want the best resolution possible for that specific purpose??

Avoid Brandmotion if night visibility is a criteria. It's horrible at night.

Yeah? Would you be able to post a video of driving at night with cars/lights behind you, and maybe a picture of the rear-view when you're in the bright sun?

What year is yours? They upgraded them at some point. My 18' was way worse than my 21' and 22'.

Wait, we're talking about different things. I have a 2024 and the factory built-in trail and backup cameras are great. I'm talking about a rear-view replacement mirror that is actually a camera.
