Looking for anyone else with this issue and recommendations. I have had a sensor issue almost since I bought my ‘23 Rubicon 392. I have had it in the shop 3 or 4 times now. Here is the response after an “engineering case” was opened. In addition, 2 weeks ago my front differential locked. They said that was a sensor issue too but the diff had a software update and now they had a software update for the sensor. Obviously the sensor update dodge work and I have not driven enough to be confident in the diff update. Any thoughts or similar experiences?

“The technician has combed through all of the areas to check on and everything is checking out on the vehicle. It seems like they are saying it is "normal" for this to occur intermittently. Its definitely not the answer we were looking for, the difference between this time in last is we have no code to work with. We checked the wiring, sensors, and orientation of the park sensors along with verifying correct part numbers etc. Another thing to note is the system should only be operational in reverse, or in forward gear under 7mph. Based on what engineering has said and what other technicians across the US have had to say about this particular issue, is that its considered normal, but seems likely that it shouldn't be. Essentially meaning they don't know why it does this intermittently. Wish I had a better answer for you, but the vehicle can be picked up at this time as we have exhausted our options on a potential remedy for the concern.”
