Can't help you with the fix, but funnily enough I had the same message pop up two weeks after I mounted my new 35's (although the spare is on a Teraflex mount, so is not sticking out any further). It was fine for two weeks but now has the error. I am going to try cleaning them and see what happens..............Guys,anyone familiar with this?Sensors are clean...![]()
I do not...Do you have a 35" or larger spare tire mounted ?
offset rims?I do not...
They are not dirty in any way...Wipe them off... clean them... and then you should be good to go. Even heavy dust will knock them out until you clean them.
I do have off set rims but they’ve been on for over a year without any issuesoffset rims?
Thanks for the comment.I don’t have 35s but have off set wheels.I really don’t see what difference all that would make but the consensus is that may be an issue and you guys know way more about Jeeps than I ever willCan't help you with the fix, but funnily enough I had the same message pop up two weeks after I mounted my new 35's (although the spare is on a Teraflex mount, so is not sticking out any further). Yeah it's a puzzler......what I don't understand is why it waited 2 weeks after installing the wheels and tires, to finally go off ?Thanks for the comment.I don’t have 35s but have off set wheels.I really don’t see what difference all that would make but the consensus is that may be an issue and you guys know way more about Jeeps than I ever will
I’ve read the same thing but I’m not sure I’m buying all that since my wheels have been on for almost a year without any problems.I would think that maybe those types of concerns might cause false alerts while backing...”maybe” but alerting to "dirty sensors” seems a stretchYeah it's a puzzler......what I don't understand is why it waited 2 weeks after installing the wheels and tires, to finally go off ?
Did some digging, and apparently the balance weights and TPM can cause this issue..... but why not immediately ?........?
100% agree on the camera but the sensors should work. This is really not new technologyParkSense sensors are extremely sensitive. Any non-OEM part on the rear of the Jeep can confuse them. Just the slope of my driveway transitioning to the street makes them panic.
I've given up on them and keep them off. The rear camera is far better anyway.
The sensors in the mirrors also impact this. I crushed a mirror doing a BOH trail, and got this message constantly until I replaced it.Guys, anyone familiar with this?Sensors are clean...
