WOW. Glad you were ok. I've had an accident like this. It didn't take much to total a vehicle when the frame is touched. I am getting some good feedback and may be glad I just change the front and not rear bumper.
The main advantage in replacing your rear bumper is improve departure angles and reduce likelihood of the featherweight OEM bumper being forced into the body and causing damage from typical trail obstacles.
Depending on the bumper design & materials, an aftermarket bumper may distribute the force of an impact more evenly and help maintain cabin integrity in a more serious accident.
