So, being a diesel, I'm under the impression that swapping gears may not necessarily be needed. I believe many are running on the stock gearing with 37's......However, I would love to hear from any 3.0 owners that are running 37's......Have you regeared? If so, did you drive it prior to...
I have a '21 JLURD and am finally doing a Clayton 2.5" lift and will be putting new rims and tires on it. At one of the shops the tech asked why not throw 37's on it, and claimed not only would they fit without rubbing, but that they wouldn't throw off geometry or add any other issues.
I've...
Depending on where all you want to go, how hard you want to go, and how far you want to go, here are a few suggestions:
As previously mentioned, Moab is world-class and has everything, including crowds!

Toquerville Falls - Short drive from I-15, tons of trails, overnight camping...
I bought a Yankum and love it. Good people and good equipment.
I have a bunch of Factor 55 gear as well and it's also great. Both companies are located in Idaho and I've wondered if Yankum is making Factor 55's kinetic ropes. No idea, but they're near identical looking.
Perhaps it would be better to state that snow and your diesel Wrangler don't mix.
I've got 12,000+ miles on my 2021 and am loving every minute of it. I've driven thousands of miles in all snow conditions without any issues, including the light powdery snow that seemed to cause your issue...
My 2021 has a USB-C port on the dash from the factory. Furthermore, USB-A to USB-C adaptors are easy to buy. Last but not least, you can just buy a USB-A to USB-C cable and not worry about it. Android has been this way for years.
I would just like to thank all those that provided advice on kinetic rope, jeep recovery, and 4wd. I would especially like to thank all those that did so without having seen the video. I'm positive that @wibornz has no clue what he's doing and needs all the advice y'all can give.
Yes, I'm...
On my Jeep you don't have to turn on CC for ACC to work, they have their own separate buttons. I almost never touch CC as I love ACC. However, as I live in Utah, I appreciate the two systems and having the two options. When snow/slush cover an ACC sensor you can still use CC without issue...
I can't speak to other's experiences, but I've learned that the more effort I put into learning the technology, the happier I am with my results.
In my opinion, Uconnect has a better graphical interface and more updated features that make it easier/friendlier to use. Furthermore, it offers far...
Are you happy with the lift?
Would you do it again or try something else?
Is it your first lift or one of many spanning multiple jeeps?
To run the 37's did you regear?
I like much of what I hear regarding Clayton, but haven't found many real world experiences.
Does the Overland+ lift work with the JLURD? And which model did you measure off of to get the 2.5"lift measurements? (Meaning will I get all 2.5"of lift on my Rubicon?)
