Don't use stop leak, the system is made for liquid and goes all through your block.Has anyone used any type of radiator stop-leak for small radiator leaks? I seem to have a slow leak, but wondering if it’s worth a shot to try a band-aid versus a complete replacement. Any advice is appreciated.
If you do a little digging there is a complete radiator replacement procedure posted here somewhere. It’s pretty common, takes about an hour with common tools. Definitely don’t use stop leak. Your heater core will thank you.I can see the leak. Looks like most others that have posted before me. It is on the drivers side of the radiator. Slow drip.
Went ahead and ordered a new radiator and will do a little DIY in the driveway. Anyone have a good write up for swapping radiators?
Yep, super easy. A great money maker for the shop. Finally got the radiator delivered today and got it swapped. Right around a 2 hour driveway job. All seems good so far.
