  1. OME Coil Spring Installation

Update. With a buddy, we were able to do one corner at a time without issue. Using two floor jacks and a jack stand. Took just under 3 hours to replace all 4 coil springs.
  2. OME Coil Spring Installation

I’ve been scouring the site and the Interwebs for some insight, but nothing is ever the same. I am currently running a 2.5” Rough Country suspension lift and noticed that the springs are really sagging. I am replacing the springs and shocks with Old Man Emu 2” medium springs and shocks. I’m...

For me, the best Weller is 12 year. All the goodness without the after-burn.
  4. Bourbon talk...

I was at Makers on Friday! Did Buffalo Trace, Castle & Key and Woodford on Saturday. All cool spots. Some great history at Buffalo Trace and Castle & Key.
  5. Interior control panel

2018. New batteries last year and secured the fuses. It only happens intermittently when I start up. After a few minutes everything works.
  6. Interior control panel

Has anyone else had issues with their interior control panel (AC, ESS, Radio) buttons not working? This just started happening recently. I start the Jeep and those buttons and switches are dead. After a few minutes, they work again. The weird part is the AC and Radio still work, but the...
  7. '21 JLUR - Squat Fix - Towing

I have a 2.5” Rough Country lift. Will this air bag kit fit the Springs? Looking for a good option to stop the rear squat when I tow a boat to Canada 1 time Per year.

Did you end up doing this? Interested to see how it turned out.
  9. Radiator Repair

I think the best price I got to do the job was $900. I’ll stick with the $200 I spent for the radiator, coolant and a little bit of time.
  10. Radiator Repair

Finally got the radiator delivered today and got it swapped. Right around a 2 hour driveway job. All seems good so far.
  11. Radiator Repair

I can see the leak. Looks like most others that have posted before me. It is on the drivers side of the radiator. Slow drip. Went ahead and ordered a new radiator and will do a little DIY in the driveway. Anyone have a good write up for swapping radiators?
  12. Radiator Repair

Has anyone used any type of radiator stop-leak for small radiator leaks? I seem to have a slow leak, but wondering if it’s worth a shot to try a band-aid versus a complete replacement. Any advice is appreciated.
  13. "Normal" temperatures?

So I added the fluid and ran it this afternoon and evening. No issues overheating and the fan never had to engage. I’m guessing I have a leak somewhere in the radiator or the lines.
  14. "Normal" temperatures?

I added the fluid....About a 4th of a gallon low. We'll see how it reacts later.
  15. "Normal" temperatures?

Great. I have not checked the coolant level though. I guess I should do that first. Update: So I went out and checked the max/min level in the overflow resevoir. It was bone dry and I couldn't see any fluid. I guess I should top it off. Next question is where did it go? I see no fluid...
  16. "Normal" temperatures?

I am noticing that my 2018 3.6L is spiking high temps and that fan is stupid loud. Just this morning I had the AC on sitting in traffic and saw the temp spike to 255 and then drop to 212, spike again, and then drop. Kind of freaked me out. Debating on taking it to the dealership to see what...

Todays finds. Couldn’t resist the 1.75l Buffalo Trace!
  18. Bourbon talk...

A little out of the way for me. I’ll have to keep my eye out. Not sure I’ve ever seen one in the St Louis area. Want a bottle of that and Old Charter…Can’t seem to find that either.
  19. Bourbon talk...

Ancient Ancient Age…Where’d you find it? Been looking for a bottle.
